  The idea that Bakshi didnt like fritz as a character and actively made his actions have consequences during the riot, and he made him less morally bad is wild to me and makes me appreciate the movie a little more

  I loved Bakshi&apos;s Version of Fritz, He was portrayed exactly as he acted. As a Sleazy, Pseudo intellectual constantly in way over his head. If anything Bakshi gave the character more justice than it really ever deserved.

  the fact that he got so upset at fritz not being a violent rapist and abuser and instead wanting to stop someone from being actively abused in front of him really tells you how he treated women in his life

  It&apos;s fascinating to me that Crumb was so deranged in his lust and other quirks that Bakshi had to temper Fritz just to make him remotely likable. It makes me appreciate Bakshi more that he cared about more than shocking people. That doesn&apos;t come across in the actual film.

  Bakshi was right; and the whole room laughing uncontrollably at fritz saying Ima bug out is as real as it gets. Idk what it is but when a no cultured person uses slang wrong in a sincere way its the funniest shit.
