I'm not a lawyer, but a concerned citizen. I'm happy to help how I can, I'm wishing you success in your endeavors. Sue them to oblivion, and may the Supreme Court stop undermining the lower courts. They came from those courts.

The founders of the country were certainly focused on the right things in providing for checks and balances. But in this day and age, the current IM- balance has shown us vividly, the ways the intent of the founders can be circumvented, stonewalled and otherwise ignored. There's an old saying that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. This administration does neither and metes out unvarnished , unabashed, vindictive reprisal to anyone or any group that opposes them. I think they're showing us vividly the ways in which we need to do an enormous retooling of our democracy in the event we can resuscitate it and put it rightly back in place. But it's going to require a supreme effort to protect the rule of law as a starting point.<br>As for the hatred between disagreeing Americans, what I believe we're seeing is that mere political differences weren't mutually exclusively to simply getting along. Now, we argued and differ on issues of values and morality like racism, discrimination of marginalized groups as a function of policy and attempts to revise and expunge our history. That's a far more difficult issue for which to find mutually acceptable solutions. But we have to agree on whether or not our diversity is a strength that needs to be protected and preserved, or gross tribalism is going to dictate policy setting up the regime change you see in other countries where oppressed groups eventually rise up against their oppressors in a never-ending stream of reprisals.
