so for context, the all blacks did a south african tour and played all the clubs in south africa (the main clubs) and the sharks was one of them. Ma'a Nonu is a former all black who is now playing for the south african rugby club Sharks (i hope this makes sense) and did the haka to show respect, it was by FAR of one of the most emotional moments i have ever witnessed in a game of rugby, and this is coming from a south african btw

As a New Zealander, this was the most emotional moment of the year. Ma’a Nonu is one of our greatest ever players,still playing at 44. Just an amazing moment for rugby fans over here.

he's retired from internationals, he's from the giant killer All Blacks. this was a friendly, he only played for the Sharks for that one game, I think he's playing in France, so probably off season I think
