  Last time I moved I used my clothes to wrap all my plates and cups. This saves wrapping paper and also you can't put as many plates in one box because clothes are bulkier than paper and therefore the boxes don't get too heavy ;)

  I just moved into my new apartment and a tip I can give everyone is..<br><br>If you know in advance that you’re moving, start decluttering! Truth is, most of us have things we don’t really need. If you do it slowly and far in advance, it’s more manageable. Plus, you don’t need to carry as much to your new place.

  When I moved from a house to an apartment I decluttered like CRAZY! I probably donated about half of my possessions and I still have too much but my new craft room turned out great and is so neat and organized now. Congratulations on your move!!

  Use the graduation rope and repurpose them as curtain holders! (Like keep the same length of them and everything but that way you can use them as a functional display)

  For future reference: you can put your clothes into garbage bags!! tape the tops of the hangers together and tie the bag around the clothes. Then you can just pull the bag and tape off and hang your clothes up :•)

  Another tip from me is to make a list: so, even though you have written the big content on the box, you also have more details on your list. If the box says ‘knitting’, then it’s extremely useful to put something like ‘balls of wool, knitting machine and amigurumi’ on your list, so you know where to find things, especially if you have several boxes of similar items. A bit like ‘kitchen and food’ would not be sufficient. You’d have food and on the list ‘dry foods’.

  Up until the beginning of this year I too was a renter and therefore moved a lot. Having a stock of plastic bins/tubs was my method so that I didn&apos;t have to pay for cardboard boxes over and over
