  Always wear a mask. You never know when you might suddenly encounter lead paint or asbestos, especially doing demolition. Also, woohoo! Just found your channel and am loving the content! I did a historical renovation myself from 2001-2007 in Portland, Oregon with exemplary and very gratifying results, but it was so hard. I admire you courage and tenacious attitude. It WILL get you through! Never give up.

  Plumber here.  If you don't have it already,  seriously consider a whole house filtration setup, one that filters lead. And check the interior water system for lead if you are reusing any of it. (Even if the pipes are copper the older solders had lots of lead.) As for your heat situation.  Replacing your old radiators and hydronic heat is probably your cheapest option.  New radiators, new pipes.

  I don't know how much you paid for it, but it's not in terrible shape, it's got windows, the roof isn't collapsed,  the walls are mostly intact too

  If you want to make quick work of clearing the overbrush, bring in some goats.   Some farmers will hire them out for clearing jobs and they eat nearly anything green or woody.   It’s impressive how fast a group of a few dozen can clear a property.

  The ammount of work in those vaulted celings is incredible. The bones of this villa are unbeliveable.

  Bringing a piano to a space that is not maintained in terms,of humidity would not have been my 1st choice...
