I feel it’s worth mentioning Noods didn’t really kill off city. It was a series of unfortunate events like internal turmoil over at Animal Logic causing the crew behind City to leave the company in ‘06, as well as new executives coming onto CN and deciding to change their demographic to specifically boys. Eventually they slowly began dismantling city while FreeStyle Collective worked on the Summer ‘07 packaging. Why did other countries get to keep city? Localization in marketing. It was still relevant to viewers.

5:55 According to the 2007 style guide, ‘92 logo is called checkerboard and the 2004 logo is called wafer.

Back when CN had soul and variety😌. What makes CN City more iconic was the summer of 2005 event that made the channel be on top of the world. Matter of fact, according to Grant Freckelton, Animal Logic’s Visual Effects Supervisor and Lead Art Director, his team was even pitched to make a movie based off of the CN city bumpers but such plans were scrapped for the company’s shift, even though I did liked the noods era.

Imagine getting isekai into a world of cartoons, just like in "Space Jam" or anime/manga series. Both the multiverse and multifandom crossovers are everywhere. How do they communicate and interact with humans in the real world?

Looking back as an adult and I wonder: you haven't changed a bit and you're still the same person I know and love. I learned so much from the people who never existed, even though the characters can't see us through behind the screen, only just breaking the fourth wall to interact with the audience.

The funny thing is, Mexico kept CN City well after America had replaced it. Before I moved back to America in late 2011, they were still airing during those years, and mind you I watched Cartoon Network slowly phase out CN City for the Noods stuff (yeah, I'm that old), and I haven't been back to Mexico since, so I'm not sure if they're still airing them or if they finally got changed too.
