  I once fell to the kitchen floor sobbing because my ice cream order had blueberries instead of strawberries. My now husband immediately took the ice cream back and got me the right one. After he assured me I wasn’t crazy and we all have moments. That’s the difference between men and boys. This poor girl deserves so much better.

  Matt breaking up with Rachael will end up being the best thing that happened to her. She deserves a balanced relationship with a man who comforts his girl when she is upset. The gaslighting is so clear from the outside. Rachael you deserve soooo much more.

  I once sobbed because a restaurant forgot the mustard in my takeout order. And yet, when my father in law suffered 5 years later with pancreatic cancer, I was the rock for our family and took care of him while he lived with us. One moment of overwhelm and emotion does not mean you cannot face adversity with fortitude and grace when it counts.

  Rachael, I know it’s so difficult to go no contact, but speaking from multiple experiences, the guy doesn’t want to be the bad guy. He wants to stay in contact for him, so HE doesn’t feel bad or feel like you hate him, not for you. It’s healthier for you to close the door and let the wound heal without it being split open everytime he calls or texts. ❤️ you can do this! We love you!

  You can tell she was walking on eggshells their entire relationship, this is no way to feel with someone you plan on spending the rest of your life with. He is so good at gaslighting her. This break up was a blessing in disguise for her. I pray she finds someone who will make her feel seen, comfortable, safe and loved because this man is NOT it!

  these convos hit really close to home. It’s so devastating and confusing when you are made to feel ashamed of expressing emotion. it does not make you incapable of handling tough situations, i think it just shows that you are human and can empathize with a variety of situations
