  Public Storage increased my rental price by over 100% in 13 months.  I moved out and got rid of stuff instead.  If you can.....NEVER STORE, it is a ripoff.

  I have another thriving business for you: I live in a town where the average price for a barbershop haircut is now hovering at $50 a pop, requires an appointment, and takes your celebrity barber about an hour to complete. I’ve been a barber for 21 years. I own an old-school, walk in and wait your turn barbershop. No appointments or gimmicks or dog-and -pony show, no whiskey shots. Just great haircuts. I still charge $25 as I have for the last five years. The shop is busy all day long. I do about four per hour and I’m busy all day. I get a lot of new clients and when I question how they found the shop, almost all of them say they just want an inexpensive walk-in type shop, and I hear a lot of complaints about the outrageous prices around town. People are fed up with being gouged, and it seems that the businesses that try to be fair with prices (Walmart, Aldi, Winco) are taking business away from the over-priced stores.

  As a former business teacher, I would suggest staying away from any new business startup requiring a fixed store location which will very quickly drain your limited capital.

  A friend of mine went looking for a job last week and was offered 4 jobs in a 2 day period. She walked in to assisted living facilities and they all offered her a job as a non nurse position paying from $17.50 to $25 an hour....if you have a heart for helping people they need the help.

  You missed a big one: Seamstress/Dressmaker. Few people know how to sew to repair clothes. Also, rich people still have money. They still want nice custom made clothes. Women still want wedding dresses and people in entertainment industry still want costumes and clothes that make them look good on camera.
