There are thousands of great small towns in America. Here is the dirty little secret--if a town has been featured in a national magazine, national media, or high volume websites (like Briggs), the place is likely already wrecked and/or grossly overpriced. I live in a nice small town that has gotten little national publicity--and that is why I will never disclose where it is. I know many of the towns shown in this video. Most of them are already overpriced and wrecked. Note, too, that most of the towns on this list have a median home price well above what most middle-class Americans can afford.
