  They fixed the Monoco fight later, but if you played in the first couple weeks, yeah, the song wouldn't loop.  The LOUDEST silence I've ever experienced in a game. 🤣🤣

  I've watched Carbot Animation for E33 tons of times and it always cracks me up. Their depiction of Sciel and Lune always gets a laugh out of me

  Guillaume Broche (the director) was working at Ubisoft but he wasn't a dev, however he met Tom Guillermin (co-founder of Sandfall) there, and he was a dev. Not many of them were from Ubisoft. François Meurisse (COO) was also working at Ubisoft but he wasn't a dev either. Most of sandfall devs were juniors, sometimes barely out of school. Guillaume wasn't kidding when he thanked people who made youtube tutorials on how to make a game because he started this passion project alone at first. He said he was managing teams at Ubisoft and explained that one of the most frustrating things about his job was managing teams without fully understanding what they were doing and how they were working, and he loved games so much that he wanted to make one too. But it escalated to a point he spent nights working on this project lol. Everything is so well explained in the artbook, you learn so much about the development of the game and how it came to be, from the very start. I can only recommend it once the English translation is out!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki2dlUkSWJ4&amp;t=1130">18:50</a> yeah the first 3 guys (Guillaume, Tom and François) were former Ubisoft employees, &nbsp;and actually the entire thing started as a &quot;just for fun&quot; solo project by Guillaume who wasn&apos;t even a programmer or dev but a project manager who got transferred to Shanghai to work on some mobile games! Then quite a lot of the next people who joined hadn&apos;t even worked on a game before, including Jennifer (lead writer) who was a finance person that randomly auditioned when they wanted voice actors for an early demo, and Lorien (composer) who was a guitar teacher with some cool covers on SoundCloud he did for fun. Then once they expanded to the 30 something people they have now, a lot of the actual programmers and artists were fresh out of school with the energy of wanting to prove themselves on a first project they were passionate about!<br><br>This looks like a very unique story... But it&apos;s actually what most studios were like in the 80s and 90s before gaming got all corporate and whatever 👀
