Note you cannot find any expedition 60 statue corpses(naked) anywhere on the continent, meaning no expedition 60 members got killed by nevrons. They were either killed by the real Renoir or gommaged. The real chads

29:07 not only were they able to power through the barrier, but based on the way the journal is written strongly implies that these ripped old people never lost a single person before gommage.

Getting stun-locked by the Renoir battle music is so accurate.

Its my head cannon that when exp60 got to real Renoir, they were inches away from punching him in the face and they got gommaged.
Renoir probably had to change his pants.

I think it was brilliant how they timed when Verso appears. None of them wanted to deal with him after suddenly losing their friend, and I definitely didn’t care about him lol. I was BIG sad

I think Verso's appearance, aside from plot, was to try to put the players into the shoes of the whole theme. We lost someone we all loved, and a coping mechanism for grief, as shown in the game, is to try to "replace" the loss with something "close enough". Gustav was Maelle's Verso, Verso is our Gustav.

I'm thinking of doing a drinking game of this where I take a shot every time someone says "this game is tight" and "absolute cinema".
