Seeking solace, he turns to online dating app as his only solace. Still grappling with love and desire, he decides to meet up with adult internet acquaintances, unaware that it would lead him to the beginning of a nightmare. （影評人翁煌德／無影無蹤） The filmmaker Kuo Hsuan-Chi, who excels as an actor and director, has chosen the rare theme of young LGBTQ+ individuals. He keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with concise narrative language and impeccable casting, making it one of the finest Taiwanese short films in recent years. （謝以萱／獨立策展人、影評） “Hidden,” through the story of a young boy, portrays the universal themes that anyone may encounter during their growth. It explores identity formation among peers, the complex and ambiguous emotions in interpersonal relationships, and the exploration of sexuality and intimacy. With its realistic visual style, the film presents a harsh and authentic depiction of loneliness in modern society and the vulnerable situations that adolescents may face.
