  For 3rd legion philosophy on why perfection equates to excess, it's because no one can truly be perfect. So, the endless climb to an unreachable peak eventually becomes excess.

  Whats amusing about Lorgar and the world bearers is that Lorgar wrote the first draft of what would eventually become the holy texts to worship the emperor. Now he fights soldiers who quote his own work at him

  The irony of &apos;The Dark Angels and the Inquisition working together&apos; when in reality they HATE eachother and Inquisitors have been killed and or disappeared after approaching the Dark Angels for suspected heresy 😂😂

  If you want to see a parallel for Perturabo in the Bible, I would say (in a way) Amalek.<br>He feel rejected, thankless, and react with full spite. His problem and his skill is to find weakness in everything and understand how things works. He was unable to live to his own standards and accept others will not be able to live to his standards.

  The Iron Warriors were always used for the hardest, grindiest jobs which other legions tend to ignore. They were proud of their obedience and that they always get the job done one way or another. The problem was that they rarely got the honourable jobs and not a lot of respect for doing sieges for example. Over time they (and their primarch) got jealous and bitter about it and when the horus heresy started they had no issue following horus. The iron warriors did by far the most damage out of all the traitor legions in the siege of terra. This is still a brief discription but i hope it gives a bit more context.
