  So am I the only one who, in high school, thought about credit cards for about 30 seconds before realizing they were dumb, then never got one? Surviving when you’re broke is actually pretty easy when you only buy things you can afford.

  Love the content dude. I recently got terminated at work but thankfully we have an emergency fund of 30k. I’d be crying myself to sleep if this came at a time where I was broke.

  2026 gotta be one of most confusing times in human history. Everybody is barely surviving, barely affording groceries, living in RVs, not paying bills, and living in their cars… yet everybody is living far beyond their means, flexing every viral product, splurging, and living lavish. Idk what is lies or what is true anymore 🥴

  I live in the Netherlands and no, credit cards are not normalised here. We use debit cards.

  I was once young and dumb or should I say immature. Maxed out 3 credit cards in my mid 20’s never kept up payments. Here I am 42 and just now getting back into the 700’s with my credit score. Pay off what you spend each month. Trust me it’s worth it.

  Dumb is an addiction, dumb is also infectious. Stay away from dumb. Smart is knowing that there is always someone better than you and you should do the same if not better

  We have credit cards over here in UK but no way can you get more than you can afford. Every new application will check credit score and who you are have credit with and check your income. Strict lending laws apply. The idea you could run up 50,000 plus in debt with no way of paying it off is unbelievable. if you already have a credit card with your bank and maybe one more it’s looked at as suspicious if you are seeking more credit. If you can afford it and need something for emergency then loans exist if you pass earnings checks.
