  Thank you for making this homage to Redford, Mr. Rose. He was a hero/servant for ecosystems and forests, in particular. A champion of the Clean Air Act, which reduced air pollution all around the United States. And many other environmental initiatives beyond that one. He was a man of high conscience and of ethical principles as well many causes he believed in and connected with. He was willing to take action to advance these values and their related causes and campaigns.

  I am so sad today. Before the network, before the White House, I was a naive, still-in-his-teens, cub reporter who got invited to Mr. Redford's house near Salt Lake City to interview him. He was at the height of his "The Sting" fame, and of course, my puerile and "star-struck" questions must have been tiresome to him at the least. Yet he was gracious, respectful, and knew more about what I "needed" than I did, and gave it to me on a platter. Of all the "stars" I had occasion to speak with over a long career, he will be most remembered - as a gentleman and a scary-intelligent pioneer with a gigantic heart.

  He is an extraordinary American and humanitarian activist for climate change …as well as being one of the greatest actor, &nbsp; and director &amp; creator of Sundance in the twentieth century!! <br>And…this man is who I am mourning in America😢!! <br>He was a inspirational and caring visionary … a great American!! <br>Thank you 🙏🏻<br>Robert Redford (RIP) 😢
