  As a fan of Queen since 1974, I took major offence at the re-writing of Freddie&apos;s story. The cowards who had script approval should have known better. Live Aid wasn&apos;t the end of the arc... it was only half way. When Freddie disclosed his diagnosis to his bandmates years later, they then set about making as much music as Freddie&apos;s deteriorating health would permit. His courage, determination and unparalleled talent made his last gasp count. That album, Innuendo, was a culmination and a finale... which is where the film should have ended... &quot;The Show Must Go On&quot; said it all.

  I gave up on biopics after watching Bohemian Rhapsody, that was the last straw for me. I was sitting there pointing out &quot;That&apos;s wrong!&quot; and &quot;That&apos;s not how it happened!&quot; over and over again. I&apos;d much rather watch a good documentary or read a book about a band/artist than watch a biopic. I simply prefer the truth and facts over being mildly entertained because it makes for a better movie.

  This is much OLDER than film. <br>History classes will teach students about how, when reading primary sources (works - usually text - from the past that are people actually recounting events they&apos;ve witnessed) but especially secondary sources (works that recount events they&apos;ve NOT witnessed) that every source has a motive and that motive is usually not accuracy. Most historical accounts paint particular people as overly negative or positive. Usually, the positive portrayals paid or sponsored the person writing the document, and the people that are being portrayed negatively were their rivals or enemies.

  Bohemian Rhapsody was at least 70% fiction. As a huge fan who knows all the background stories of the band I was incredibly disappointed in this movie. The stupid part is they could have made a far better film by sticking to the facts as the real story of Queen is far more interesting than this drivel.
