Oh wow. Legally blonde is Mortius's favorite musical. We surely could have NEVER seen this coming. It's not like his entire brand and aesthetic is built around pink formal wear. It's not like every part of his taste in comedy makes it clear he'd be a romcom/chick flick guy. Surely, we could have never anticipated this. I'm shocked, I say. Shocked.

I think what make Legally Blonde so good, both as a musical and as a film, is that it’s never apologetic about what it is or tries to tone itself down for a general audience. They take all the aspects of femininity they represent and embrace them for all their good and bad.

About the dog: if I remember correctly, Bruiser is typically played by a shelter bb that has an aptitude for learning tricks (thus promoting animal adoption). The understudy to OG Bruiser in the musical was definitely adopted by cast members Orfeh and Andy Karl. ❤

Something Mortius mentioned once in his solo channel is how this kind of content usually attracts the audience of what they are reacting to, and when the series is finished they go away, which is understandable. But like, I don't know anything about legally blonde and yet here I am, watching this new series, simply because this is the best reaction channel on YouTube

Edit: By the way, I watched Legally Blonde (movie) a few months ago with my mom and it was AMAZING. Just like in the musical version, Ellie is such a sweetheart and I love her sm 🩷

the dog telling them where to find Elle is a joke in media from the old tv series/movie Lassie where the dog Lassie alerts her owner that a child is stuck in a well by barking and its as if the kid can understand her. the origin scene is foggy debated but thats the culture media joke theyre drawing on "whats that lassie? Timmy fell down a well?!"

The "quick change" isn't an actual quick change. It was just two different actors. One starts to go down the pole and then someone else is waiting to come down. That's why they have a big banner there covering it up.

14:08 Also his little mat that they put down that he knows to run to to hit his mark! You can obviously see him standing on it and you can see one of the sorority girls subtly scoop it up as they run off stage! Such a smart pupper :3
