  I hate how there is this trend where everyone says they got ocd because they like things ordered. They have no idea what ocd really is and completely dilute that term.

  "My child recovers when in an institution but gets worse as soon as he returns home, I wonder why that is" really was so, so incredibly out of touch. I get that it's distressing to watch a child be unwell, but James' mother is treating his condition like a temporary illness that he simply isn't putting enough effort into 'recovering' from. So very sad for him, and I hope he's doing okay, as all other people involved in this documentary.

  James’ mum sounds like a very unsafe person. Like she can go from 0-60mph emotionally in the blink of an eye. Can’t help but feel like she’s a big contributor to his challenges.

  I feel so  sorry for sweet Helen.😢  That is such an awful state  of OCD to think she  will harm complete strangers. She wouldn't  harm a fly.

  james mum is making things so much worse, the pressure to stick to a timeline of life is only going to create more anxiety and more fear<br>screaming at him about uni is ridiculous because that should be the last thing hes worrying about, you cant do uni unless you&apos;re healthy

  I went to school with James and was so sad to see he is struggling like this. We lost touch a long time ago, but all my memories of James from school are of an incredibly kind, thoughtful, intelligent and interesting person. He was also deeply deeply funny, and the most incredible actor. <br>This has broken my heart.

  Credit to all of these people for being willing to be filmed at such a difficult turning point in their lives - I really hope they have been able to retain a greater quality of life. I also struggle with OCD and seeing that I&apos;m not alone means so much. May everyone struggling with this horrible disorder seek the treatment they need.
