Not my slave has to be one of the healthiest love songs ever written.  Honoring the independence of the other person.  "Don't want you in a cage. I only want your heart to find that special place.:

I made it to 17 shows between 1987-1995. Always the most fun one could have at a show. They never missed a note and never needed sheet music, pulling songs out of nowhere from their entire catalogue.

I was so fortunate to see them in concert 4 times. I love them now and forever. I wish they were still together. At least he’s still writing music for movies.

“Good morning, this is Kevin, and Bean. You’re listening to the world famous KROQ F.M. Let’s start off a good day with one of our favorite songs. OIngo Boing, We Close Our Eyes”. How I miss those days!

The most unique and intricate band of all time. We will never hear another band that sounds like Oingo Boingo

My life was totally F--ked growing up,but bands like (Especially) Oingo Boingo kept me going. Alot of songs inspired me to put up with the bullshit I was dealt. I wonder if some bands realize the affect they have on people? I say them in Irvine (On Thursday) at their last shows. It was beyond words.
