  There are certain 80&apos;s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.

  Im 45 and a child of the 80s.I use to do myself such a disservice by only listening to rap and hip hop. A few yrs back i started listening to other genres of music especially 80s music and im so glad i did. So im just discovering many songs today. Some i heard before in movies soundtracks others i slightly remember from MTv but here i am. On a magical journey and this song is sooooo awesome.

  I lost my wife to cancer about 4 years ago. Hearing this song reminds me of lying in bed with her late at night watching videos on MTV. We were young looking forward to our lives together. We never got to spend many of our golden years together though and I long for those good times back in the 80s. 🥺

  I am 16. I know that is super young but I am blessed to listen to songs like this one and reflect back on my life. My girlfriend of 9 months broke up with me, I am truly heartbroken. She was so sweet, kind, heartwarming a beautiful. I learned a lessons from the breakup and now I am fighting for her back. I believe that two can break a relationship and two can start over and fight for one to. If you see this Emily, I love you with all my heart.
