  Right next time I’ll expand the troubleshooting to the full thing but I did make a lot of cuts. <br><br>To address a couple of people’s comments: <br><br>- Lossless scaling does not help, it can sometimes increase utilisation but it doesn’t fix Windows being funky with locking framerates. <br><br>- Linux works great… if you’re using the card for its intended purpose, I do think flashing the BIOS to resemble its gaming equivalent and passing through acceleration though could work wonders. <br><br>- I did reseat the CPU, and have tested the RAM on another board and it still acts the same way. (Detected in CPU-Z but not by Windows).<br><br>Anyways I hope you all enjoy the pain and suffering this PC has caused. It’s been a fun one 🫡

  Reseating the CPU would probably help with the memory detection. 1366 has kinda a habit of dropping memory due to CPU mounting pressure problems

  If all the RAM slots work...I would get an XEON x5675 6 core 12 thread, max out the RAM 24GB in triple channel and pair it with a good rx 580/590...I used to have a setup like this and the 5675 and 590 are a match made in heaven with 0 bottleneck.

  I&apos;ve done some research on these S-series Firepro&apos;s before. If you want to do a seperate video on the card, to use the displayport output you have to flash a W-Series VBIOS onto the card. As the names indicate, the S is for headless servers, the W is for Workstation cards, ironically considering the previous owner decided to throw the server card into his workstation.

  oh hell nah, not Mount&amp;Blade 2 working flawlessly after days of struggle and half an hour of video, this game never fails to amaze me. I think the only way to properly use this Firepro would be with physical modding to it, ngl, maybe shoving a normal 285 BIOS into it

  X58 are infamous for being vey, very picky with RAM. It should be triple channel.

  That VGA is a server mounted unit. Those use the server fan wind current to get themselves cooled. Inside a normal PC case, I don&apos;t think they&apos;ll be very well cooled. Also, the 950 is quite a hot chip, so using the Intel stock cooler for cooling it is a sure recipe for disaster
