  Difficulties buying a house aren&apos;t necessarily the price of the house; it&apos;s the property insurance, property tax, massive HOA theft, and, in many counties, CDD fees. Those add another $700 to $1500 to your monthly payments.

  6% - 6.5% is not a historically high mortgage rate. &nbsp;Actually pretty historically normal. &nbsp;A 3% 30 year mortgage WAS artificially low!! This with gov’t money blew up home prices! &nbsp;Affordability has more to do with home prices, construction costs and home ownership costs than interest rates. &nbsp;There is little or nothing that’s going to help new construction costs! &nbsp;The components prices are not going down short of a depression. &nbsp;A crash isn’t realistic … but a long drawn out .. decades?, low/no, sub inflationary &nbsp;appreciation is very likely, especially given our current prices and demographics. &nbsp;The real estate industry hates this almost as much as a crash but reality is homes are a cost not an investment, that’s over, get used to it and buy accordingly!

  I have been watching you for several months. When I was ready to sell, I got a referral for a great realtor in my area from Audra. My house, in Arlington, TX, sold in less than 24 hours with a great cash offer (I had 2 competing bids)! There are 2 other homes in our neighborhood for sale, built by the same builder. They have been on the market for 22 days and 42 days. Both homes listed for less than mine with one of them being the same square footage. Thanks Audra for all of your help and to my local realtor!

  I’d like to hear him talk about homeowner insurance cost here in California &amp; fear of Prop 13 going away. &nbsp; We are self employed, we are seeing companies hanging onto thier money. Companies buying up the rentals. &nbsp; How can a young couple afford this state.
