  They can’t even get full self driving to work in Teslas and they’re talking about replacing a vocation that’s as old as humanity itself with robots.

  More than a decade ago, AI experts claimed that radiologists would be completely replaced within 3–5 years. But more than ten years later, radiology actually needs more doctors than before. Even the specialties most affected by AI have turned out this way—let alone surgery.<br>Elon Musk also says that in the future no one will need to work anymore. Do you believe that?I’d rather believe that a massive AI bubble will burst long before AI replaces radiologists.

It’s all about making money, Elon getting richer is the goal. Not actually accomplishing or living up to any of his promises. He said he would make tunnels underneath metropolitan Los Angeles with the Boring Company so that traffic issues could be alleviated in LA. Yeah…its been like a decade since that promise. <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; Elon also promised that the 2 door tesla coupe roadster would be coming back. I believe he announced at a keynote in 2017 that the car would be on the market by 2019. Of course it is 2026 and that two door coupe never even got made—nice one Elon! <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; Elon also talked nonstop about how he could create fully autonomous self-driving vehicles and promised that he would deliver this service at a fully running capacity multiple years ago. BTW, Tesla is failing at autonomous driving to companies like Waymo and trying to pivot completely because they can’t compete in the market. <br> &nbsp; &nbsp; Enter this stupid, useless, Optimus robot. Just another smokescreen of the richest guy in the world trying to sell you on the fact that he’s got another world changing idea that is going to make him even richer and you can join in on the fun. But the reality is that he really has no interest in living up to any of these promises, what he really wants is people and companies to invest money and raise the share price so that he can jack up his salary and give himself a bigger bonus at the end of the year. Not political, just saying that Elon Musk is way more full of shit than most sheeple realize and way less intelligent also—in my opinion.

  Before the robots and machines, I would like to see whether AI can make on-the-spot clinical and surgical decisions. Start with a code blue. Have the AI make proper decisions during live surgeries before sticking devices and robot hands into people.
