To be able to keep that kind of mentality and composure, still able to think about the people on the other team in a moment so special for him and his son, is just admirable. His father deserved the belt as much as Lyoto did. Truly the belt went to the right team.

In my high school wrestling days, we were taught to never celebrate your wins until your opponents were back on their feet. I wish professional fighters set a better example for the world, like Lyoto’s father. Very honourable.
