  Wow. Just catching up some of your older videos.  The first three minutes of this one is one of the most well said three minutes I’ve heard from anyone.  Incredible story and tribute to those that sacrificed for us.

You provide many like myself with an insight to history, brought to life, about individual accounts, that would otherwise be hidden from many of us. THANK YOU Waffles for the light you bring to the dark history, that powers that be are TRYING VERY HARD to erase from our history.   The stories are very important,  history books leave out a lot of the gruesome and ugly parts of history. You try and keep it as real  can be. I thank you for that.

  Thank you again for your work - your sharing truly takes us there.  As terrible as War is, there is humanity on both sides that needs / deserves to be told, and I know that you are the man for it.  Maybe someday you can on over to the western theatre.  There are many great places / stories here also that should never be forgotten!  Cheers - Roy

  Gettysburg truly is amazing. It really is a humbling experience to walk the hallowed grounds of that battlefield.  Something about Gettysburg keeps me coming back.  Thank you for telling this story and so many stories to be told and to keep the memories alive. Well done Charlie !!!

  I get the same feelings walking the ground as you. Reverence and awe, you can almost feel the anxiety these men must've felt in formation.  Then the guns let loose.  Chaos, terror, dread, smoke, dust, blood. Great content Waffles. Keep it up.

  Brother, you paint vivid word pictures.  Matthew Brady and the other battlefield photographers did it visually, but you have a unique talent for doing it with words.  True theater of the mind like Orson Welles demonstrated with War of The Worlds!

  Coming from the neighboring state of Delaware, I've been to Gettysburg many, many times. The battle of Gettysburg is a massive story that can get almost clinical in the retelling. Focusing on an individual experience is a great way to share the fear, valor and sacrifice of the people who fought there. This was very well done. Subscribed.
