That was a great idea, well worth the time and effort, many many years ago I used rolls but on a larger scale, you needed a lot of rollers to keep it straight and stable, especially on large, long, heavy pieces of timber, and if you’re not careful, it used to vibrate, which obviously with a pattern in the wood,
Later in life, I purchased two separate a jointer and a planner, SCM , F 420 j Class, S 520 Class E , but I still built a in-feed and out-feed table, for the F420, 5Mt in length, and similar for the S 520 , this one could be ajustable, I am now retired in my 70s , and I still have my machines, but with out extensions,
I am English but living in France, if you need to recalibrate your height adjustment, get yourself a steel ruler, fit some magnets to it, and put it just under the height gauge, probably putting a small mark on the frame/chassis so you know you put it back in the same place each time, good luck with your project,

For the people watching you, never use a miter gauge and a rip fence together! Good way to get hurt!

NEVER trap a workpiece against the fence when making a crosscut like shown at 2:15 ... this is a kickback accident waiting to happen! And never stand directly behind the blade when doing it. Instead, clamp something on the fence behind the blade to measure your cut so the workpiece is completely free at the blade... as you stand to the side. Save yourself a serious injury.

A simple, very good idea. I am now considering a smaller version for my Dewalt thicknesser. Thanks for posting. : )

Those four assembly jigs really caught my attention as a zero experience would be woodworker. I got scared though of your table saw cross cutting technique using that mitre gauge against the table saw fence. Of course I have saved the project for my own build, thank you so much! This earned you one of your ardent learners and followers, thank you!

I love what you did to your planer, but you terrified me while you were using your table saw.

I dont know your shop situation or your overall needs. What I see is someone building something for their own needs and preference. It doesn't have to be right for everyone else, just as long as it suits your needs. Good on you for putting yourself out there. No hate here, just respect for doing it.

8:36 holy shit. I had no idea they made a slide in router table insert for this saw. That's great. I'm thinking of making an insert for my table saw as well. Just using the same fence with modifications.

I built mine as a full roller cabinet with folding wings. That way I can save on shop space when I don't need the large capacity. And with my design I have 2 feet in front and rear when wings are folded down. With wings are up I have a total of 5 feet in front and rear
