Family: Grace in the Grind (w/ Scott Keith) | Theocast

Why does parenting so often leave Christians exhausted, guilty, and inadequate? Jon Moffitt talks with Scott Keith (1517) about his book Being Family: Passing Down Faith Through the Generations, and about raising children with real boundaries, real forgiveness, and gospel peace instead of harsh legalism or soft permissiveness. In this episode you'll hear: Why parenting advice online often feels like all law or all "grace" with no wisdom Being Family: vocation, marriage, and passing down the faith by the Spirit How secular success scripts reshape what Christian parents chase Gentle parenting vs parenting that actually speaks forgiveness in Jesus' name Few clear boundaries enforced well, not a thousand fuzzy rules Parenting as vocation: serving those closest to you under Christ How the Sunday gospel centers a chaotic home in forgiveness and love Who it's for: weary Christian parents, empty-nesters who still feel the weight of family discipleship, and anyone tired of parenting content that either crushes or excuses.
