  I used to be so nice to ppl because I wanted to be friends with them. I was the type of person that would never say no to anyone. They used and abused me so badly especially in college. The truth is ppl don&apos;t want you to be too nice to them. They will look down on you, treat you like a doormat, laugh at you and leave you. I learned the hard way. I&apos;m a really caring person and it&apos;s hard for me to say no but I&apos;ve really learn that it&apos;s okay to say no.
