Just gorgeous!! Edited to add that I love how the outfit she's wearing harmonizes with the room, and that the colors of the studio are bouncing off the white walls and reflecting on her face. Lovely through-and-through. Very inspiring for me today, too. I'm painting at home. I too just really like paint! Her frustrations with having to work, and periods of stagnation are very relatable. I've picked up painting again after an unwanted break (anxiety/loss/fear/depression, and of course having to go to a soul-draining job); I've chosen to paint for the pure sake of just creating intuitively and enjoying color - to my surprise I've created something beautiful and personally meaningful. It's a joy, it's therapeutic, and it's a gift to be able to paint.

As an artist myself who loves materials and color, it was very inspiring and uplifting to hear Christina talk about her process and see her working and how she relates/thinks about it all. Great interview/video. Thank you.

"I just like paint, really." A banger of a starter, and simple, too.

My first time hearing her name and seeing her work! The colours are Blacknificent!
What I'm truly digging is her studio space!!! I'd luv to have a visual arts space like hers!!!
Luv seeing another artist work on more than one painting at a time. That's my artistic M.O.
