  Out of love for DBGT, I created a fanfic to address plot holes and fix narrative inconsistencies. For instance, to make sense of the Black Star Dragon Balls&apos; existence, I created an original character who serves as their creator; I established that they were recently forged using the Super Dragon Balls to justify their immense power. This character&apos;s motive was essentially to force the protagonists to traverse space to retrieve the orbs, thereby compelling them to increase their power in the process. That is precisely why he imposed the condition that, if the Black Star Dragon Balls were not gathered within a year on the planet where the wish was made, that planet would explode—a tactic designed to drive the protagonists into space. The goal of making them stronger was to prepare them for a future threat, while also using them to eliminate the Machine Mutant Empire without having to get his own hands dirty.

  To add something I didn’t even think about for piccolo sacrifice that I didn’t realize till you mentioned that it should have been turned to stone way earlier… why didn’t they kill dende then? The Earth Dragon balls are connected to Dende at the end of Cell saga, so then why does killing Piccolo do anything if we are saying that Kami before transferred their role to our Kami. Reminder 1 week after they ended Z they started GT, they forgot that Dende was the god of Earth in about 1 week!
