After watching this series so far, I'm slowly starting to realise that 2000s Australian kids tv was 99.9% British kids tv shows

LazyTown truly was Iceland's greatest export. It makes me so happy that the show got so famous overseas as well.

And rest in peace Stefán Karl Stefánsson. You are missed

My little sister would choose to watch In the Night Garden during our TV time at like ages 8-10 just to drive me insane. I hated it and it genuinely creeped me out.

I think I mentally blocked out Step Inside. It sounded familiar but I couldn’t place it. Then you played the video and tHE HOUSE FACE oh gods it all came screaming back 😂 Also my little brother had that tubby toast thing too!

In The Night Garden was nightmare fuel imo. I used to love Bernard’s Watch, that kid that could stop time with a little pocket watch!

Edit: I just noticed you covered that in another episode… “Bro has a superpower and he goes to LIDL!” I’m crying 😂

The version of Andy Pandy it played was like the 1950s version that’s why it seemed creepier than you remember
