Save your sick days for when you are really sick. Don't come to work sick, Don't come to work sick and finally. DON'T COME TO WORK SICK. That goes double for kids and school.
Your's truly a retired paramedic.
Also, Benadryl making you sleepy is not a allergic reaction.

Women, you should know about your body, including your reproductive system. Looking at it or researching about it is not wrong and it can help you notice when something is wrong down there

Antibiotics should be a last resort medication and not something for a cold.

9:27 that's how I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. frequent heart attack symptoms plus cardiac stress test with echocardiogram at 38. I'm much better now. Waited months because anxiety and depression are twins from hell.

Re: not keeping drugs in the "medicine cabinet." Use a lockable drawer in your bedroom. That also keeps kids/roommates/ pets out

Doctor explaining about new research, look things up and such.

I have fabry disease and the doctor testing me for it had no idea about it. I was his first case.

Uncle died, medical research discovered it. X linked disease (gran must have had it) mum got tested, she has it. I got tested, I have it.

Doctor was so excited.

Moved to new area, new doctor. Doctor didn't kniw about it either.

I have studied it and spend a lot of time in hospital and with specialists. Even basic information can help. I have a card with the disease name, the medical code, description of disease and possible symptoms. I also know my mutation.

Saves a huge amount of time as the doctor doesn't have to Google it.

Period cramps are uncomfortable, but they shouldn’t be excruciatingly painful, especially in adulthood
