  Brother Vic.  I was just at Wooten Woods for clean up week and jamcamp.  Do yourself a favor and go to one of his camps it will change your life both musically and spiritually.  You will come home a better human.

  I got to play Stanley’s Alembic back in the 80s. I studied with him when I was in my 20s. I used to go to his house for lessons. I played that bass and the upright he recorded his classic records with. Great memories.

  I’ve said similar things in comments before, but when the Fodera guys gave him that Bass, having met Victor myself back in the early 90s as a 19yo getting a lesson at his house, while he was still on a touring schedule with his wife waiting downstairs because he promised to teach me on a certain date… and he kept his word and only charged me 30 bucks for an hour, which was just supposed to be 30 minutes. And yes, he let me record it. I still have the tape. <br><br>I know why they gave him that bass. If you know Victor, you know where I’m going. I don’t need to say anymore.

  In July I had a stroke and underwent brain surgery. The surgery lasted 10 hours, the worst experience in my 66 years. I have 5 basses which thinned out from 8. After my surgery it appears my brain &quot;reset&quot; &nbsp;which now I must learn again. &nbsp;Victor i dream of playing again because I never had so much joy in life. I enjoyed watching this and most of your videos. Thanks for the moment I could dream again. Bless you brother.

  I want that dragon bass! I been playing over 50+ years and collect dragons too. That puts you on top for me. Keep it up as long as you can like I&apos;m doing. I&apos;m &nbsp;not letting my pancreatic cancer stop me.
