My cousin was actress Linda Darnell and she had kinda a bipolar history in Hollywood..they liked her last name but not her first name so they changed her from Monetta to Linda and they told her to say she was a tan anglo..and to play "ethnic"..when the Darnell's are a very old American family yes but even older in Europe..but when they came here they intermarried with native Americans..as the pioneers did..but Linda was half Cherokee from her mom and some native from her dad .but our family has some Spanish and Romani and Sephardic.<br>a little north African besides French and UK Celtic mutt and German..were tri racial..but Linda was very beautiful and could have played almost anything cause there's a good chance she already was..
