  My OBGYN just told me last week &quot;next time you come, we will do a cervix exam and we&apos;ll continue doing them till you deliver&quot; <br>No consent asked, no explanation, nothing. It kinda scared me because I have Pubis Symphysis Dysfunction and I experience so much pain opening my legs. Other than the mechanical problem, &nbsp;my pregnancy has been so normal and uneventful...I just realized I could opt out of these cervical <br>exams. Thank you for this 🙏🏼

  So real, like you can be bleeding, and that&apos;s normal! But if the palm of your hand is itchy, they will take you right to the operating room!!! True story.

  Once I delivered my placenta I asked to see it and my dr was so excited and he went over all the different parts. It was crazy to look at and see al the details and veins. Also, when delivering it my contractions werent strong like pushing out the baby. With him my body was basically pushing for me and I didnt have to think about it but with the placenta I didnt feel the urges to push and had to force myself to do it. Was anyone else like that?

  That rolling definitely is starting to feel like them rubbing/grinding against all my organs and &nbsp;is very uncomfortable

I’m pregnant now and see talks of placenta everything… I’m just like well, guess I missed a lot last pregnancy.

  I fell asleep after getting an epidural when having my first baby. I woke up to someone between my legs, breaking my water 😐 I am pregnant with my second and am delivering at a different hospital, with a doula.

  Both of my kids snuggled the placenta before they were born - they are still huge snugglers now!

  I absolutely love your content. Got me through the fears of my growing baby, delivering my baby and then what to do and expect. Nothing went to plan, I had a premmie but I got through it with as little stress as possible thanks to you.

  Thank you so much for advocating for true, informed consent in labor and delivery! So much of what I hear about hospital birth is full of women being told &quot;this is just hospital policy&quot; and then getting crushed by the institutional pressure of the entire hospital to just let them do whatever the intervention may be, regardless of how much they understand or want the intervention.<br><br>On a totally different note, Interesting thing for me is how placenta placement impacts feeling baby&apos;s movements. For my first pregnancy, the placenta was on the front, so it took a couple extra weeks for me to feel him. My second baby, I felt her the first time at 15 weeks and I think I&apos;ve recently felt baby number 3 here at 17 weeks.

  Can you do a video on GBS please? I just tested positive for it and don’t really know anything about it. What is it, how do you get it, how to treat it if you can, without antibiotics during labor?
