  I read the manhwa and I remember there being more to this story. They didn’t even get to the “lady with the lamp” part of the title.

  I really felt bad for Dr. Graham in the show. He studied hard and seemed at least as adept as Elise, but got sidelined because Elise essentially had a cheat sheet to advanced medicine and an extra 15-20 years to study it.

  This is an interesting twist on isekai. Comes off more like getting Christmas Carol’d than stealing the body of some rando. <br>She was even an orphan so that’s the only family she ever had.

  I just love how neither the Manwha or anime explains reason why Elise was burnt at the stake. /s &nbsp; <br>She must have done something truly horrible to deserve an inhuman execution like that (being burnt alive is one of the worst ways you can die, mainly from the excruciating pain and smoke inhalation)… Too bad we’ll never know other than her being a “bad person”. <br><br><br>I’ve read some breakdowns of the Manwha that <b>implies</b> she was associated with the wrong people and just happened to be the wrong time &amp; place for her, where the paranoid ML assumed she was conspiring against him and misjudged her for being his enemy. So again, it was all misunderstandings that got her killed, but it was all implied and never full on stated to be the case.

What she did is cricothyroidotomy, which is the emergency procedure that is done within seconds and is done in cricothyroid membrane between thyroid cartilage and cricoid cartilage, js below the voice box framework bcz it avoids major blood vessels and is faster compared to tracheostomy that usually aims for 2nd or 3rd tracheal rings (sorry for going all out on an anime, i js had to🫠)
