OG Konoha really wrote herself as a Mary Sue, only for it to work against her 😂😂

i agree it kinda went nowhere by the end of this season, i just have more wonders of what will happen, but its kinda realistic for a story written by a middle schooler haha

Considering it is supposed to be the childish writings of a novice, the story isn't bad. I'm enjoying it.

I'm so torn between admiring how the author (the series author, not Iana) recognises all the writing flaws with the Mary Sue writing, writing cringey/ creepy scenarios and even how female characters are treated, and absolutely cringing seeing it unfold around the MC. I mean the cringing means that the author and anime team captured it so well but still. I feel wrinkles forming from the criiiiinge.

Unpopular opinion but I think Konoha is an Decent writer because I find it hard to write dialogue even between the slightest Characters

Honestly I think this would actually be LESS entertaining if there was more conflict -- it feels rather important that she's realizing that conflict is not as fun to live through as it is to write about. But she just doesn't have the same level of denseness as Katarina over in HameFura, so a second season is going to get old fast if it sticks to her worrying about death flags from the original plotline more instead of having her priorities shifting towards being more concerned by what was revealed in the sequel hook.

I really enjoyed the series just because it’s an anime about a story written by a middle schooler and whatever she was into at that time lol.

I actually really like it even if there plot starts to get wonky at the end. Praying for a season 2 lol
