We don't have "extra protection" in the work environment. We have "workers rights" that we fought for over the centuries!

In "relatively" poor Greece, we have a free health system for everyone, free education from 1st grade to University (with exams). When someone is fired from their job, they are entitled to compensation and 70% of their salary is automatically paid by the state, until they find work again. Public transportation is good and cheap (trams, buses, metro).

Even from Canada, joining the USA would be a downgrade in life and freedom. The only free people in USA are billionaires and the rest are there to enrich them...

Freedom is not having to worry about costs all the time. Most Americans don't have that freedom, Their greatest freedom is the freedom to worry.

I live in New Zealand and I don’t think I could ever live in the USA because I would have to give up my quality of life. And when I say quality of life I do not mean money.
