before i played primal i thought it was actually supposed to take place in ancient Kyrat due to the maps being alike, so i assumed it was about the start of the Kyrat culture and everything and I think that would have been really cool

Almost 8 Hours of Far Cry fun. Bring it on!
I genuinely enjoyed New Dawn. The writing on some characters and the villains was really really bad. But looking past that with the actual gameplay loop and all the things added onto it make a really neat game!
Kinda actually liked getting the outposts re-taken cause I enjoyed the stealth and takedowns. Strange I know.
Expeditions were really cool and gave off an "Play your own action movie" vibe.
You're totally right about the modern design of the game. I may or may not have played a special version that was offline and took out the microtransactions though so that could have swayed me more.
Final "boss" sucks though lol

I'm not sure if it's "in-game" explained but I believe Joseph's monologues were sent over a highjacked EBS from his compound. Which i know is still not a very plausible explanation and it's only hinted at in game, at least i thought it was?

5:15:30 oh, yeah, I've had way too many moments where i turn off everything i can, on my HUD, and will stand in one spot, trying to line up the perfect screenshot. My homie saw me doing that with fc4 and he was like, "wow, that looks like an AI rendered wallpaper for a computer", and i showed him the shit i would screenshot from FC5 and he was stunned. Especially with the loading screens cause I'd screenshot them before anything would pop up, so at most it showed the cult icon that was the save icon lol
