Dr. Tabor I have been studying your work since I was a young man. Now at 48 it is such a pleasure watching you share your work and truths with the world here. God bless you sir.

The Dead Sea Bible often lining up more with the Septuagint gives extra assurance that someone couldn’t just brush off the differences with the Masoretic text as fringe sectarianism from this group.

Thank you for taking the time, Professor! Also, thank you for the bit of evidence of the tempering of the Tanakh to hide Yeshua.

The DSS agrees with the LXX more often when there is a variant. In fact, the Samaritan Pentateuch agrees with them more often than the Masoretic. Translators need to start leaning more on the DSS than MT.

I just recently received the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible from Abegg, Flint, and Ulrich, at the suggestion of Kipp Davis during one of his livestreams, and I am greatly impressed. As a study and research tool, it's something I didn't know I was missing.

I am curious, though, why they chose to go with the "In the beginning, God created..." terminology in Gen 1:1, instead of "When God began to create..."
