  Jay , I think that the Regulator for the Propane is the problem.  That regulator is just one that would be used for a BBQ grill.   You need a proper home style regulator.

  New subscriber here 👋 I have the same setup and used to have this happen all the time. Nothing’s broken — propane tanks have a built-in safety valve that trips if you open the tank too fast, especially after it’s been sitting or with a long hose. It thinks there’s a leak and limits the gas. Disconnecting the hose resets it. I started opening the tank super slowly, wait a few seconds, then turn on the stove, and now it works every time. Good luck 👍
