I can't believe how many quilts you pick up from these recycle shops.  Americans must really go big on quilts.  I rarely see a quilt in any UK design ideas.  A blanket, possibly faux fur or wool, folded on a chair, but almost never a quilt.  They are so nice.

Have y'all ever considered putting together ephemera packs to sell? I think they'd be a huge hit. All of the falling apart books you find, old maps, postage stamps, postcards, recipes, fabric swatches, all the things!!

The quilt looks like a friendship quilt where squares were given to family and friends to embroider, then returned and sewn together.  My sister and I did one for our parent's 25th anniversary.

Lightening up the projects makes them fresher for spring, summer decorating.😊

Ahhhh , Jami, I sooooo wanted a granddaughter. That cute outfit made me wish. But my “baby” is finished. She says 3 sins is enough. And my grandson is adorable. Wouldn’t trade him for the world.

To get rid of stains on whites, wash it and then hang on line outside when it's frosty/cold.  The cold air will dissolve the stains.  Something my mum taught me.

Dude! You were looking at your Walt Whitman book and all I could see was A Swiftly Tilting Planet underneath it! Part of my favorite sci-fi series by Madelein L'Engle!
