  I am 58 years old and living in Gauteng (Johannesburg) for the last 25 years and I have never seen this part of Johannesburg. Thank you for making this video it was very informative and impressive. I applaud you for your courage and for your friendliness with our people. Yes there are very dangerous criminals in the city but most people are just trying to survive in a bad economy and struggling with life in general. This was very well done and I will be watching your other &quot;episodes&quot; as well. Thank you once again.

  Hey Zazza I am from South Africa. Thank you for covering the story. Where there’s a lot of police, it is because the were illegal foreigners who have trading illegally and they were recently removed. They even took the Mayor of Johannesburg to Court. It is a serious crisis and we thank people like you who come and cover such stories. It is very hard filming in the city because of illegal things happening.

  Here at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InWM2flIJQU&amp;t=663">11:03</a> when you ask the guy whether he feels abandoned by the government, there is a slightly reluctant yes. This is because the majority of people who occupy those buildings are illegal immigrants. His answer is correct though because the governments from their respective counties are what led to them migrating to South Africa for better conditions. To them there is a better chance at survival here than in their own countries in Africa.

  It&apos;s no surprise that many of us in south africa don&apos;t know the true state of Johannesburg, these kind of vids actually bring to light the true extent of public perception vs reality, especially because the true extent of information is kept suppressed or completely hidden
