Mix hasn't fallen off. He has a real estate portfolio in the Seattle area that's in the tens of millions. He owns a studio that many Seattle area musicians use and he's the second generation of hip hop that learned from the mistakes of the first and current. To own your own art. He chooses to stay in Seattle and is a well know charitable and humble guy there.

His cadence on “posse on broadway” was completely unique for its time. I was a freshman in HS and dudes were reciting that monotone flow all through the school...<br>Go back and listen. No one was spitting like that in ‘87.💯
