One of the biggest ruts I see guitar players fall into is the "I'm not a singer" rut. Cheers Nicky!

So this video is a great example of why I take lessons with Nicky and why I use his course daily. Most teachers focus on the technical aspect of playing the guitar. But Nicky is also a producer and session player so he understands the importance of creativity and a players relationship with his guitar. And for those of you that are curious I am a 7 string playing metal guy and everything he is saying and teaching applies in every genre. Having said that, if you want to be a better player and music creator I would highly recommend Nicky's online course. I have been playing for 40 years and its opened doors for me.

i have subscribed sometime ago but only got to see a few vids recently,, in my mid 60's from Australia, just n old amateur hard rocker, i love your teaching style, i have learned a few great things just from watching a few of these videos, taking more interest in blues in my old age, i recently watched one of these vids showing a glimpse of swamp style , you play so well off the bat it has pricked my ears with interest, i also fool around on a tin box guitar for fun on the back porch as i live in the mountains, if ever down under you are welcome to hang out here. i think every player out there could learn from you.. thanks for taking the time mate.. legend

John Lennon was a huge fan of Bob Dylan, and he asked him once, "Teach me how you write so many brilliant songs." Dylan replied: "Sure! Once you guys ( the Beatles ) show me how you come up with so many great chords." 😂❤

This is really good teaching and advice. I have been playing the guitar for about 35+ years and am only now beginning to understand it. In the 2000s I was playing in bands in fairly big clubs in Boston and everything I knew, I learned from tab. It showed me where to put my fingers, but not much else. I could play Allman or Santana, but not musically I now know. It is only now that I am learning to "hear" the fretboard. A good friend of mine (a fellow called Duke Levine) has some great instrumental records he did in the 90s and I have made myself sit down and find the notes he is playing on guitar. There is no tab. I have made so much progress that I am thrilled. But then, it shows me how much further I need to go! The guitar is an incredible instrument when you think about it. In a world where we are saturated by phones and social media, the guitar stands out. It is but two pieces of wood, glued or bolted together, with six wires on it. Primitive. Yet, no matter how much you study it, you will never get to the bottom. The adventure never ends...what else can you say that about?

READ THIS… I recently purchased Nicky’s course. I have to say I am so glad I did. I have been playing for a number of years and have been struggling trying to get to the next plateau. I am 63 years old and still struggle with ADHD, so I need structure. This course is exactly that. Awesome no nonsense advice explained very well and demonstrated. The value in what Nicky teaches you is extraordinary. Guys and gals there are no secrets, it’s about honest hard work, but in the course Nicky breaks it all down and gives you the structure you need to take your playing to the next level. I could not be happier, and let me tell you I have pissed away a lot of hard earned money on useless lessons, videos, workshops. This course is great, and well worth the money. You won’t be disappointed, I promise you. Cheers….
