  Re: the guy who pays people to clean/shovel for him - not only does it add to his happiness, but it supports his community and employs people to do what they presumably enjoy doing (or at least enjoy getting money from). Definitely not the AH.

  I am a housekeeper and I have a client like the last one. They pay me well to spend a full day at their house cleaning bathrooms, picking up toys, doing all of their laundry, and doing dishes. I’m like, if you would rather pay me to do all this stuff to free you up for time to do other things, I am happy to do it!

  My partner pays for a cleaning lady to come twice a month because he hates cleaning and I hate doing it by myself. It&apos;s honestly a win-win! I don&apos;t see any issues with hiring people to take care of your housework if you can afford it.

  In that last story, OP brings up a pretty valid point here: If he gets injured, especially his back, he’s cooked job-wise. It sounds like he’s in a heavily demanding industry requiring a lot of physical labor as it is, and that’s their income. <br><br>Even if he recovers, slip/fall injuries like that have a way of lingering forever and could hinder his ability to find other kinds of work that can make enough money to support them. I have congenital spine issues and I would love to be able to afford someone to help me with chore tasks that take the life out of me, haha.
