Hej hej, that's looks funny!
But as I know, this "old style" Mainboard is no longer availble since a couple of years (as on your's the relays are soldered onto the board, and can't be replaced. Last version had sockets for the relays).
That means, you have to look for a conversion kit which includes Mainboard, Display and the "CanBus" X106 from Mainboard to the Display and at last as well the keypad on left dashboard are inside the conversion kit. That's needed because of different connections at Display and keypad. In the past as well a instruction was included in the parts delivery if I remember right.
Last point, the Mainbord has to be "programmed" to the machine type. For an instruction of programming, best will be to ask a Volvo CE dealer if they will give you a copy of the related Service Bulletin.
Maybe I can help with some information as I have work at Volvo in Konz for many years inside the Customer support department.

So you will be busy for the next couple of months 🤔🤯

That was a missed opportunity of saying the white cat turned into a black cat.

I’ve just fixed a Ahlmann Az85 wheelloader. It’s a dutch product, and now under the brand Mecalac. I got the mashine for free because the engine had been full o water for years. The short story is that i overhauled the engine completely. And it’s the same engine as in your Volvo. A oilcooled Deutz FL1011. I ordered all parts from Autodoc and Eurodel netshops. Quality parts (Mahle, Kolbenshmidt…) for a fraction of the price as from the dealers. The hydrostatic pump is also exact the same as in your machine. The totalsum for my project was 21000; Norske kroner. New turbo (ebay, kina), new starter motor, all pistons/rings/piston pins/main bearings/con.rod bearings/timing belt and tentioner. Be aware of that the timing belt has to be replaced every 2000 hour. It’s a easy task that can be done without removing the engine. But i just wander why youdon’t remove the cab before you took it inside. Only 4 bolts to remove, some dash fastening and wires and tubes (flusher) need to be disconected. Then you get into the core of the beast, and can do a good cleaning, check hoses..so on. And do a glass/interiour/paintjob in a much easyer way. Anyway, your project don’t look to bad. Good luck👍👍

I follow another presenter from Sweden, and he probably lives around the northernmost city. Oddly enough, I have relatives in Sweden somewhere. When Norway and Sweden were the same country, they farmed close to Gorvik, but when the countries separated, then they found themselves on different sides of the border. I love the countryside and the heritage of the places. Reminds me of the times I have come to Norway to visit.

I have seen a few presenters who have similar challenges to yours, and they dig for boards and connectors and get burnt machines to run again. You basically have a good chassis; just the ECU is toasted.

Guys, that was one hell of an innovative method to transport that loader. Kudos to who ever thought of it.

An excellent project 👍. It’s valuable in so many different ways. First you learn more on how to repair things. You will gain a valuable piece of equipment and you will have a sense of pride and accomplishment when it starts working 👍👍👍
