Brother Skousen’s Old Testament books were invaluable to me when I studied the Old Testiment.  The first 2000 years, The Third thousand years, The Fourth Thousand years. Marvellous!

It is good to hear cousin Cleone's voice again.  Brings back memories of my youth when he spoke at our Bentley reunions!

david o mckay was the president when in 1965 missionaries came to the door, at 3 my dad asked what I thought about the missionaries presentation and words, I nodded my head up and down, from then on my parents following my nodding came to be baptized and I was in primary at 3 with my twin brother and also our older sister. nice to have brother skousen's words too.

Thank you Brother Skousen for leaving these treasures of understanding. And thank you Brent for sharing them with the world. His writings have helped my personal scripture study and my love of the scriptures so much.

Do you have recordings for his teachings all through the old testament? What a treasure, I can't wait to listen to everything

Are there anymore lessons like these? I am reading The First 2000 years again to prepare for this year and this video was a great find.

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there is perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books and Benchmark Books.
