  If one takes Martin Plaut&apos;s argument at face value he may be right a country as ethnically diverse as Ethiopia should not exist, meaning almost every country in Africa should not exist..so one may ask, could this be part of the grand Western plan to keep Africa in constant turmoil ❓ If Ethiopia is not viable, how would Kenya with 40 or so ethnic family be viable ❓ how would a tiny Eritrea with 9 ethnic groups be viable, Tanzania with 200 or so and so on and on...❓From hydro politics point of view it is pretty clear why Ethiopia is a Target, but I just wonder why &nbsp;Ethiopian statehood is seen as unique and ethnic warriors are endorsed in a manner people like Martin are doing ❓ &nbsp;Clearly &nbsp;there is an age old appetite from all corners to see Ethiopia disintegrate although unlike many others around it Ethiopia seems stubborn, but I just can not see it stop at Ethiopia..the domino effect is too clear to see..&quot;Oromia republic&quot; will eventually claim half Kenya, &quot;Afar republic&quot; will eventually claim half Eritrea and so on and I am not &nbsp;surprised to see some sane African leaders such as Uhuru Kenyata nervously running around to make peace...Martin plaut&apos;s full time dedication to see a disintegrated Ethiopia should be taken with a pinch of salt..No one with a right mind would glorify an architect Meles Zenawi whose plan has brought an untold misery to the very people he claimed to free, the people of Tigray‼️<br>My question to Martin is by his own false claim Ethiopia was at &nbsp;Berlin conference and Ethiopia is creation of &quot;imperialist&quot; Minilik...so the rest of African states? is your argument to say a nation can only be legitimate if created by white colonialist ❓ Is Minlik&apos;s offense being black &quot;imperialist ...❓ what is your point..I can see a W supremacy at play and trying to erase that painful history of having been defeated by a black King ‼️

  I live in Germany. &nbsp;I meet lots of Eritreans who have fled to Germany. &nbsp;Especially the young men. &nbsp;I see them in groups on the streets and greet them.

  The whole &nbsp;world accepted fragmentation of medieval &nbsp;Empires living afterwards &nbsp;in peace with &nbsp;neighboring states;<br>While Ethiopians elites are stuck &nbsp;&amp; &nbsp;obsessed &nbsp;to the old &nbsp;medieval emperial &nbsp;mentality of expansionism, &nbsp;making Ethiopia &nbsp;today as <br>the &nbsp;main source of instability in the &nbsp;region.
