Garza is my cousin, he brought the Album over to my studio before it came out because I have a 2k watt QSC system with dual K subs to reaalllyyy crank it up. I actually liked it a lot, but im also not really the "Metal" guy in the family. Lol Great podcast. Love you Alex 🤘🤘🤘

We will never forget the first time we all heard Doris and THE PART hit 😂 A truly tragic day for all SS fans.

" I don't like it because it doesn't sound like every other deathcore album that sounds like every other deathcore album"

It’s a fine album. Every artist puts out a grower.

Hes right, when they premied Doris live for the first time at Knotfest, before the song came out, I thought it sounded fkn tight. To me it sounded like every other song in the set hahaha. I was actually hyped on it and surprised when the track dropped.

The problem is that SS had a their own signature sound and that album sounded like some unoriginal local band copying their favorite music

Fix the title, he's talking about the Self Titled LP not the EP.

You Can’t Stop Me wasn’t bad at all! After their loss of a close friends and band mate, they pulled themselves together and tried to move on the best they could. This is something fans should credit more. With the Black Crown it was one of my favorite albums by the band. The self-titled album wasn’t my thing, there were some good songs, but I saw it more like an interesting experiment or an album that gives the band a break from the stuff they usually do. I appreciate the traditional production process by recording the band in one room!
